Abstract: The clinical manifestations of chronic gastritis among the liquidators of the Chernobyl accident and individuals without aggravated anamnesis of radiation are different. The liquidators of the Chernobyl accident showed а high rate of incidence of atrophic changes in the mucosa of the stomach with diffusing characteristics. For the first time is given morphological characteristics of the gastric mucosa among the liquidators of the Chernobyl accident, suffering from chronic gastritis, using modern quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods.
