Abstract: The method consists of: covering the surface layer with powdered exothermic mixture, its arson and removal of the burning radioactive products. The exothermic mixture has the following composition, wt.%: Calcium-silicon powder – 40-60, alkali metal nitrate – 2-5, industrial oil – 1-2, powder of aluminum-magnesium alloy – the rest. Results: increase of the security mode, decrease of labor intensity, increase of productivity.
