Abstract: The invention relates to decontamination of radiation-exposed silicon and can be applied in industrial production of power reactors. During sequential two-step process with oxidative alkaline solution, containing sodium hydroxide, and solution of oxalic acid in both steps, oxidizing solutions based on hydrogen peroxide are utilized. The second stage is conducted not later than 5÷30 minutes after the first one.
