Abstract: In the Russian Federation there are still radioactively contaminated sites, and measures for their rehabilitation are included in the federal program “Nuclear Radiation Safety of Russia for the period between 2008 and 2015.” A significant portion of solid waste, annually entering specialized enterprises, constitutes of low-level soil materials removed during decontamination works.
